A new site called Thunderclap, which went live in beta Thursday, can do for your messages on Twitter what Kickstarter does for burgeoning ideas. Get enough people to support your message through the Thunderclap website and they'll all tweet it out at once, perhaps increasing the possibility that your message could become a trending topic on Twitter.

Three killed, one missing in latest California yacht accident LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - At least three sailors were killed and one was missing after a yacht racing from California to Mexico apparently collided with a much larger ship, officials said on Sunday. The Coast Guard said a helicopter joined the search for the fourth sailor an hour after dawn on Sunday. "Right now, we're continuing our search and trying to find the person," said Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer 3rd Class Seth Johnson.
