Supreme Court to address blood testing for drunk driving



TRAFFIC-LOSANGELES/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court will soon consider whether police must get a warrant before forcing a suspected drunken driver to submit to a blood test, a case that could set a new legal standard for motorists' privacy. By agreeing on Tuesday to hear the case along with six others, the court has agreed to review close to 40 cases for the nine-month term that begins on Monday. It will add others in months to come and typically hears 70 to 75 cases a year. Decisions are expected by the end of June. ...
